Join our team as a Field Service Technician

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of Multi-Functional Products (MFPs) while effectively addressing customer printing and scanning challenges. Your role will also involve fostering strong relationships with clients and the sales team.
Compensation
Salary Range: $45,000 - $57,134.44
Key ResponsibilitiesYour contributions will include:
- Performing maintenance and repairs on MFPs and resolving customer printing issues.
- Conducting on-site service for MFPs.
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and the sales department.
- Managing parts and call records to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Staying updated with new technologies.
- Promoting products and leading referrals to existing customers (5% of your role).
- Providing break-fix and customer support (95% of your role).
- Understanding the territory's parts budget and inventory management.
- Adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Performing other relevant tasks as assigned by management.
What you will bring:
- 0-2 years of experience in technical repair of electronic or software equipment.
- Familiarity with basic Microsoft OS printing and networking concepts.
- Basic understanding of common solutions.
- Certifications in low to mid-end office systems.
- Basic knowledge of color theory.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with occasional assistance.
- A positive, outgoing, self-motivated attitude, committed to strong customer relations.
- Willingness to travel within Canada and the U.S.
- Possession of valid travel documents at personal expense.
- Ownership of a vehicle with valid insurance and a good standing driver's license.
- Availability for standby and after-hours work as needed.
- Flexibility for after-hours travel and overnight stays, including weekends.
- Completion of other relevant duties as assigned by management.
- Achievement of Associate Level Certification is required.
- Travel within the assigned territory, with some out-of-territory work.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Net+, CompTIA CDIA+, Microsoft MCP or MCITP (or equivalent experience).
