Job Title: Primary School Teacher

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join our team at Doncaster Council. As a Key Stage 1 Educator, you will be responsible for teaching and inspiring young minds in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to students in Key Stage 1
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to support student growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans that meet the needs of all students
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic development
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition for students

Requirements:

  • Minimum one-year teaching experience in a Primary School setting
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in education

Desirable:

  • Experience with Reading and Writing Intervention (RWI) programs
