Cashier Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Starbank Convenience Mart. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the cash wrap and surrounding areas
- Restock shelves and maintain inventory levels
- Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail or customer service environment
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide excellent customer service
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Free parking available
- Learning/training paid by employer
- Permanent employment opportunity
- 35 to 40 hours of work per week
