Job Title: Intermediate QA Analyst

AMANST Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Intermediate QA Analyst to join our team for a contract opportunity with the Government of Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies, test plans, and test cases to ensure high-quality software products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing efforts, and provide expert advice on testing methodologies and tools.
  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using various tools and technologies.
  • Identify and report defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Contribute to the development of testing frameworks, test data, and test environments.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong background in quality assurance and testing methodologies.
  • 5+ years of experience testing Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) applications.
  • Experience with Oracle Siebel CRM, Siebel Test Automation, and Adobe AEM is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of defect management life cycles.
  • Ability to write and understand SQL, and experience with data models.
  • Knowledge of one or more programming languages, such as Java or JavaScript.
