We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Manufacturing Technician to join our team at Greenlight Innovation for a temporary 6-month term. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for assembling and installing electro-mechanical components, compression fittings, and threaded fittings for our custom-designed fuel cell test equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Assembly and Installation: Assemble and install electro-mechanical components, including pumps, heaters, pneumatic, electronic, and electrical components, controlled by proprietary software.
- Quality Control: Safely conduct leak and pressure tests, check quality, and verify build for errors.
- Equipment Preparation: Prepare equipment for shipment, ensuring it meets our high standards.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as required to support the manufacturing team.
- Manufacturing Experience: Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of mechanical components and assembly processes.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read mechanical drawings, assemble mechanical components, and work with pressurized gases and fluids.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills, with excellent time management, prioritization, and attention to detail.
- Asset Skills: Experience in tubing and pipefitting, assembly of automation equipment, electrical and electromechanical subassemblies, or electrical panel building is an asset.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $25 to $30 per hour, depending on experience.
