Job Title: Long Haul Driver

We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Driver to join our team at Canwest Cranes Inc. As a Long Haul Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across long distances, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods
  • Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid passport
  • Criminal record check
  • Driver's validity licence check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Drug test
Work Environment:

As a Long Haul Driver, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, often away from home for extended periods. You will be required to work in a variety of weather conditions and may be exposed to dust and other hazardous materials.
