Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Propane Operations Specialist to enhance our Sudbury operations.

Reporting to the Market or Field Operations Manager, this role encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at meeting the demands of our service area, including:

  • Efficiently transporting, loading, and unloading propane for customer delivery.
  • Managing the logistics of tank deliveries and pickups using specialized vehicles.
  • Overseeing the maintenance of our operational facilities and inventory.
  • Performing essential administrative tasks to support operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the transfer, collection, and delivery of propane products to various containers and customer locations.

- Utilize technology, including On Board Truck Computers (OBTC), to monitor propane inventory and ensure accurate delivery.

- Conduct maintenance and quality checks on propane tanks and equipment, ensuring a professional presentation at customer sites.

- Maintain an organized and clean operational yard, performing regular facility upkeep to minimize repairs and costs.

- Handle necessary administrative documentation and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.

- Provide exceptional customer service, promoting our products and fostering positive customer relationships.

Qualifications:

- High School diploma required.

- DZ driver endorsement with a minimum of three years of experience.

- Familiarity with B149 code is an asset.

- TDG and WHMIS training and certification are advantageous.

- Strong customer service orientation and good computer skills for inventory management.

- 0-8 ton crane certification is a plus (training available for qualified candidates).
