We are seeking a skilled Painter - Drywall Specialist to join our team at White Dust Drywall. As a key member of our coatings team, you will be responsible for applying various coatings and finishes to drywall surfaces.
Key Responsibilities- Apply airless spray equipment, brush painting, and patterned rollers to achieve high-quality finishes.
- Prepare surfaces for coating by performing drywall taping/patching, water/hydroblasting, steam cleaning, and sandblasting.
- Specialize in coating and application techniques, including aggregate painting, novelty and decorative effects, fibreglassing, fire retardants, surface gilding, multi-color finishes, gas proofing materials, metallized coatings, powdered coatings, tank linings, dipping, and lead-based removal and encapsulation.
- Work with various wall coverings, including wallpaper, fabrics/upholstery, and wood veneers.
- Ensure attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to distinguish between colors.
- Work in a physically demanding environment, with regular bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the coatings industry.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- 38 to 44 hours per week.
- Permanent work term.
- Work language: English.
