About the Role:

The Meat Supervisor is a key member of the Thrifty Foods team, responsible for ensuring a superior customer service experience in the meat department. As a leader, you will coach and develop friendly, well-trained staff to provide exceptional service to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the meat department and staff to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Act as the go-to person in the absence of the Department Manager and Assistant
  • Foster customer loyalty and actively contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve department operations and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Journeyperson Meat Cutting Certificate is required
  • Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role
  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Full knowledge of department operations and skills
