Job Title: Tow Truck Driver

My Big Tow Inc is seeking a skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for driving a tow truck and performing various tasks related to towing and transportation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tow truck as part of a two-person team or convoy
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform brake adjustments and pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
  • Perform preventive maintenance and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people
  • Permanent position
  • 35 hours per week
  • English language
