Job Description

Job Title: Senior Risk Advisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Advisor to join our team at Desjardins Group. As a Senior Risk Advisor, you will play a key role in helping us prevent, analyze, and develop guidelines for suspicious and fraudulent transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational risks
  • Conduct thorough analysis of suspicious transactions and develop recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement compliance programs
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to senior management and decision-making bodies
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration
  • Minimum of eight years of relevant experience in risk management or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of French is required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
