About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Relief Pharmacist to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a Relief Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacies across British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients.
  • Ensure adequate inventory levels of medications and over-the-counter supplements to meet patients' needs.
  • Counsel patients on new and additional medications in a friendly, positive, and proactive manner.
  • Create awareness and educate customers through public relations initiatives, such as public health days and clinics.
  • Provide timely and positive resolution to patients' needs and doctors' requests/issues.
  • Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary).
  • Provide ongoing training for new and existing pharmacy colleagues (technicians, interns, students, IPGs).
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist's license are mandatory.
  • Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism are essential.
  • Excellent leadership and performance management skills are required.
  • Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans.
  • Strong personal computing skills, as well as knowledge of KROLL Pharmacy Computer system, is a definite asset.

Compensation

The hiring range for this position is $68.10 per hour. A candidate's experience and knowledge, as well as the geographical region in which the position is located, may be factored into the pay a candidate receives for this position.
