About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Corporate Controller who will work closely with various teams to support the CFO. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, accounting, and financial analysis.

  • Prepare financial statements and working papers for various entities in accordance with ASPE.
  • Support the improvement of the financial system and processes by expanding scalable financial controls and processes.
  • Oversee the daily activities of accounting team members and manage the daily accounting operations of the accounting department.
  • Implement scalable financial controls and processes to ensure accurate, complete, and timely reporting.
  • Review, reconcile, and remit ongoing government and tax filings as required for various entities.
  • Manage annual filings and related corporation information of officers and directors for various entities.
  • Assist in the accounting of property acquisitions and dispositions, prepare statements of adjustments, and consolidate projections, budgets, and associated reporting packages.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a CPA designation and a minimum of 8+ years of progressive accounting and reporting experience. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience operating in the real estate industry, preferably property management, and will have strong financial reporting expertise with ASPE standards.

The successful candidate will have experience managing audit and reporting cycles, technical excellence with accounting software, and the ability to evaluate and implement general ledger and related modules and/or ERP systems.

We offer a competitive salary range of $125,000 - $145,000/year and a collaborative work environment that fosters career growth and development.
