About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Technician to join our team at J&K Electrical Services Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, and testing of electrical and electronic equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Assist in the design and development of electrical and electronic equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Installation and Testing: Conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
  • Calibration and Maintenance: Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments, and conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Testing and Analysis: Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure, and will be required to work at various locations. The role requires excellent oral communication skills, organizational abilities, and a team player attitude.

Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Work Conditions: Work under pressure, work at various locations.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to lift and move equipment.
