About the Role

At Franklin Automation Inc., we're seeking a highly skilled Automotive Embedded Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of our automotive software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze product requirements and evaluate potential technical solutions to meet our clients' needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient and cost-effective software solutions that span multiple domains.
  • Design, develop, and test software components to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Document and validate software and test tool designs to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • ~3 years of software development experience in Python.
  • ~1 year of software development experience in C++.
  • ~ Familiarity with unit test frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • ~5+ years of software development experience in C++/Python.
  • ~ Experience with source code control systems such as Git.
  • ~ Embedded test & automation experience, including Linux OS, flashing devices, file transfers, logging, capturing telemetry, automation triage, etc.
  • ~ Automotive test experience, with CAN/LIN.
  • ~ Creative and analytical thinker.
