About the Role

This is a senior leadership position within the Government of Canada - Central, responsible for overseeing the logistics and supply chain management of goods production, utilities, transportation, and construction.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize resource allocation, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  2. Lead a team of senior managers to establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and government agencies.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational challenges, and implement process improvements.
  4. Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  5. Represent the organization in negotiations and official functions, and make key decisions on behalf of the organization.
  6. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  7. Requirements
    1. Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
    2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role, with a proven track record of success in logistics and supply chain management.
    3. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
    4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
