Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to contribute to a significant project aimed at enhancing our build and deployment automation processes. This initiative will support the ongoing management of code packages and patch deployments within a sophisticated, on-premises environment utilizing Oracle OFSAA software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document procedures and knowledge comprehensively.
  • Balance multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities efficiently.
  • Exhibit a mature and professional demeanor in all interactions.
  • Utilize advanced critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Required Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • 5-7 years of experience in an Engineering, Development, or DevOps role.
  • 5+ years of experience with Linux operating systems, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux, with a strong focus on file systems, permissions, and system services.
  • 5+ years of experience in deployment and configuration automation tools, ideally with Release and Deploy or similar technologies (e.g., Salt, Ansible).
  • Proficient in using Git, preferably the Atlassian Bitbucket variant.
  • Advanced skills in bash scripting.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Python scripting.
  • Familiarity with SQL, ideally Oracle SQL, and Korn Shell scripting.
  • Basic knowledge of Apache and Tomcat.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in installing, building, and configuring Oracle OFSAA software is advantageous.

Education:

A degree from a college or university, or equivalent professional experience is required.
