Dental Hygiene Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygiene Specialist to join our team at Dentalcorp Canada. As a key member of our dental hygiene team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and Implement Patient Care Services: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' oral health needs and develop personalized treatment plans to address their unique requirements.
- Provide Preventive Clinical Hygiene Services: Perform scaling, root planing, polishing, topical fluoride application, pit and fissure sealants, and teeth whitening procedures to maintain patients' oral health.
- Deliver Dental Health Education: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, introduce new prevention methods, and counsel on the importance of regular dental care.
- Ensure a Consistent Patient Experience: Foster a positive and welcoming environment for patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their dental hygiene visits.
- Build Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals, upholding the highest standards of professional behavior and ethics.
- Enhance Patient Loyalty: Offer personalized services that meet patients' unique needs and expectations, promoting loyalty and retention.
- Communicate Effectively: Utilize effective communication techniques to listen actively, empathize with patients, and address their concerns and needs.
Requirements:
- Education and Certification: Hold a dental hygiene diploma or degree and be registered and/or have a valid authorization from an appropriate dental hygiene regulatory body in a province.
- CPR Certification: Possess a valid CPR certification.
