Job Summary

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Radiological Technologist to join their team at UBC Hospital in Vancouver, BC. As a Radiological Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic and medical imaging procedures, observing safe radiation protection practices, and maintaining the cleanliness of examination rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic and medical imaging procedures, observing safe radiation protection practices.
  • Prepare patients for examination, operate radiographic and computerized imaging equipment, and process radiographs.
  • Enter relevant data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) and monitor patient during procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness of examination rooms and monitor equipment performance.
Qualifications
  • Certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
  • Demonstrated knowledge and practice of safe work procedures with diagnostic radiographic and medical imaging equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform radiographic examinations in compliance with departmental standards.
