Nexus Systems Group Inc. is at the forefront of cloud transformation, and we're seeking a skilled Senior Python Developer to join our team. Our vision is to provide the simplest, most reliable, and adaptable cloud services to our tenants.

We're a community-driven team that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. As a Senior Python Developer, you'll have the opportunity to work on building new systems, interact with people from various industries, and develop your skills in the latest technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Contribute to the development of our cloud platform.
  2. Identify and propose improvements based on software development best practices.
  3. Act as a leader of certain functionalities, meeting with stakeholders, and defining the future mode of operation.
  4. Research and integrate APIs of integrated platforms (AWS, GCP, Openshift, VMware, etc.).
  5. Participate in Agile ceremonies for continuous improvement of the product, team, and processes.
  6. Support platform users and fix bugs.
  7. Design, code, test, and deliver services with industry standards.
  8. Contribute to defining requirements and specifications.
Requirements:
  1. French-English bilingualism.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience as a software developer.
  3. Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and data structures.
  4. Experience in database management (SQL & NoSQL).
  5. Extensive experience with API development (Python) and API usage.
  6. Extensive expertise in test integration (unit testing, integration testing, TDD, BDD, etc.).
  7. Extensive experience in development and architecture (microservices architecture).
  8. An enthusiastic spirit, a strong interest in innovation, and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
  9. The ability to dissect a business or system problem to find an easy and sustainable modular solution with the team.
  10. A team spirit and the ability to adapt to uncertain and changing needs.
  11. Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  12. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  13. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Additional Qualifications:
  1. Knowledge of OpenAPI/Swagger standards.
  2. Hands-on development and operational experience (Gitlab-CI, Docker, Helm, Kubernetes/OpenShift).
