About the Institution:
The University of Toronto Scarborough, through its Retail & Conference Services department, offers a diverse range of visitor, conference, and event services, particularly during peak seasons. The revenue generated from these services supports the academic mission of the University.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage inquiries within the defined scope and redirect as necessary.
- Act as the primary contact for general inquiries.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling.
- Reserve rooms and arrange necessary accommodations.
- Maintain information on digital platforms.
- Facilitate minor purchases.
- Process accounts receivable in accordance with financial management guidelines.
Essential Qualifications:
- Completion of a College Certificate in Business or Office Administration, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
- A minimum of two years of experience in an administrative role, providing front-line support.
- Experience as the first point of contact handling a high volume of inquiries via various communication channels.
