Nurse Practitioner

RhynoCare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Listowel-area. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, psychological, and emotional well-being.

• Provide nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident's plan of care.
• Utilize sound nursing practice principles to deliver excellent nursing and personal care in the assigned home area(s).
• Ensure timely and accessible admissions, comprehensive orientations, and safe resident transfers and discharges.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Effective, compassionate, and supportive interaction with others.
• Respect for each resident's individuality and right to self-respect and privacy.
• Knowledge of relevant Federal, Provincial, and Municipal statutes influencing the operation of the Nursing Home and nursing department.
• Medical Clearance, including TB tests.
• Vulnerable Sector Police Check and/or Adult Abuse Registry Check.
• Clear Criminal Record check.

All staff are required to provide proof of vaccination, adhere to COVID-19 prevention protocols, and wear a mask at all times.
