Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our Quality Control team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our dairy products. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting tests, recording data, and maintaining laboratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct various chemical and microbiological tests on dairy products to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Accurately record test results in our laboratory software system.
  • Prepare and plate samples for testing, and collect and process samples from different production areas.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Generate reports and communicate results to relevant departments, ensuring compliance with all safety and quality regulations.
  • Manage laboratory supplies and place orders as needed.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of laboratory areas and equipment.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and promptly.
  • Provide operational and safety training for employees as needed.

Requirements

  • Practical laboratory experience in food production or manufacturing is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with safety and quality regulations in a laboratory setting.
  • Willingness to undergo necessary training programs.
