Are you enthusiastic about delivering top-notch customer service? Do you excel in a busy atmosphere? Our Central Alberta Co-op is the ideal place for you We are currently looking for casual Fuel Service Associates to become part of our vibrant team.

Position: Fuel Service Associate

Casual: Less than 24 hours per week

Availability: Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons, and evenings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service at the fuel station
  • Accurately dispense fuel and propane
  • Perform windshield cleaning and check vehicle fluid levels
  • Efficiently process payments for fuel and merchandise
  • Receive, unpack, and organize merchandise carefully
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Assist with car wash cleaning duties as required
  • Support promotional activities to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Carry out additional tasks as directed by management

Qualifications:

  • Minimum age requirement: 16 years old (as per regulations for dispensing fuel and propane)
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Prior experience in cash handling and customer service is preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
  • Team-oriented with the capability to work independently
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.; some heavy lifting may be necessary
  • Previous experience in fuel dispensing is advantageous; training will be provided
