About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanic Assistant to join our team at Bamrah Truck Repair Inc. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our repair services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tool Management: Safely move and store tools, equipment, and other materials to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Surveying Support: Assist surveyors by holding stakes during surveying activities, ensuring accurate measurements and data collection.
  • Site Safety: Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Team Support: Provide assistance to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed, promoting a collaborative team atmosphere.
  • Cleanliness: Clean machines and immediate work areas, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Unit Testing: Test and adjust units to specifications, ensuring quality repair services.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Assist in adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of truck-trailer systems, maintaining vehicle integrity.
  • Communication: Discuss work with supervisors, ensuring open communication and effective problem-solving.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality repair services.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
