Job Title: Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at Neighbourly Pharmacy Operations Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, managing pharmacy operations, and leading a team of pharmacy professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Order and maintain stock of pharmaceutical supplies, ensuring accurate inventory management and minimizing waste.
  • Advise customers on the selection and use of non-prescription medication, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Check prescriptions for proper dosage, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
  • Compound prescribed pharmaceutical products, utilizing precise calculations and measurements to ensure quality and efficacy.
  • Maintain medication profiles of customers, including registry of poisons and narcotic and controlled drugs.
  • Manage the storage, packaging, and distribution of medicinal products, adhering to regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of other pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, pharmacy technicians, and other staff, promoting a collaborative and productive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Pharmacy Examining Boards of Canada Certification.
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods. Ability to distinguish between colors, attention to detail, and work under pressure are essential.
