About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Blue Sky Supermarket. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meat products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting and Preparing Meat: Clean and cut meats to prepare for processing or cutting, and prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers.
  • Meat Processing: Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat, and wrap and package prepared meats.
  • Meat Handling: Remove bones from meat, cut poultry into parts, clean and prepare fish and shellfish, and cut fish into steaks and fillets.
  • Meat Grading: Grind meats and slice cooked meats.
  • Display Preparation: Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products, and shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will work in a fast-paced retail environment and will be expected to maintain a high level of productivity and quality.
