Job Summary

Ron\u0027s Equipment Rental & Industrial Supply is seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy equipment fleet.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including hydraulic systems, engines, and transmissions.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure efficient and effective equipment maintenance.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices for equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Strong technical knowledge of heavy equipment systems and components.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in a fast-paced environment.
