Junior IT Support Technician
We are looking for a motivated Junior IT Support Technician to join our team at CB Canada, a leading organization in the education sector.
Position Overview – Junior IT Support Technician
Key Responsibilities:
- Address customer inquiries and technical issues utilizing provided documentation and resources;
- Generate service tickets through JIRA as required;
- Assist users with the setup of Windows and MacOS workstations;
- Provide guidance on the use of standard software applications;
- Connect and configure workstations within the network;
- Install and set up necessary software on workstations;
- Manage user accounts, including passwords, access rights, security protocols, and group configurations;
- Utilize JIRA for managing incidents and service requests.
Qualifications – Junior IT Support Technician
- At least one year of experience in IT asset management;
- Fundamental understanding of the Microsoft Intune cloud service;
- Basic familiarity with the Microsoft SCCM management tool;
- Experience in network connectivity for workstations;
- Knowledge of Windows domain administration;
- Experience in server maintenance tasks;
- Proficient in writing documentation;
- Strong customer service abilities.
Employment Type
A 6-month contract with the potential for extension.
