Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Exterior Plasterer to join our team at Tradelink Stucco & Construction Inc. As an Exterior Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to create a weatherproof surface.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply and Finish Plaster Coats: Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to exteriors of buildings, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Clean and Prepare Surfaces: Clean and prepare surfaces for plaster application, removing any debris or old plaster.
  • Cure Plastered Surfaces: Cure freshly plastered surfaces to ensure a strong and durable finish.
  • Finish Corners and Angles: Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required.
  • Mix Plaster Ingredients: Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency, ensuring a smooth and even application.
  • Work at Heights: Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to apply plaster coats.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the field of employment.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: The Exterior Plasterer will be required to work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, and will need to be physically fit to perform the duties of the job.
  • Personal Protective Equipment: The Exterior Plasterer will be required to wear personal protective equipment, including a hard hat, mask, safety glasses/goggles, and steel-toed safety boots.
