Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the engineering team in enhancing current products and creating new offerings, overseeing the entire process from initial concept to production and assembly lines.
  • Oversee multiple simultaneous projects utilizing both standard and visual project management techniques.
  • Formulate and/or execute policies, standards, or procedures related to engineering and technical tasks.
  • Collaborate with management, production, sales, and marketing teams to discuss product specifications and operational procedures.
  • Manage the synchronization and comprehensive integration of technical activities across engineering projects.
  • Ensure that designs, schematics, and testing specifications facilitate successful manufacturing outcomes.
  • Lead and encourage problem-solving initiatives across all facets of manufacturing and product development, including mechanical, assembly, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, painting, and testing processes.
  • Work alongside internal and external manufacturing teams to enhance our capabilities, yield, and production capacity through design for manufacturability.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role within a product development, engineering, or manufacturing setting.
  • Proficient knowledge and practical application of manufacturing processes, including control, methods, and automation.
  • Familiarity with technical documentation for manufacturing processes, such as PFMEA, Process Flow, Control Plans, Work Instructions, and Checklists.
  • Strong understanding of small engine components, both mechanical and electrical.
  • A degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in General, Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Process Engineering is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Relevant software proficiency (e.g., MS Office, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
