Key Responsibilities
As an Audiovisual Systems Technician, your primary duties will include:
- Integrating advanced technology and equipment into the existing digital media framework to ensure optimal performance.
- Providing technical assistance by diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions to maintain system functionality.
- Analyzing and repairing malfunctioning systems while supporting the adoption of innovative techniques and procedures.

Work Schedule
This role requires a commitment to onsite work five days a week, including weekends, shift work, and varying hours, with the possibility of being on call or working overtime on short notice.

Qualifications
Education:
Completion of a trade school, college, or university degree/diploma in a relevant field such as audiovisual production, technical production, media arts and technology, electrical engineering, or electronics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
Applicants should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in technical support and problem-solving for various equipment and systems, including:
- Live events, audio/video, broadcasting, webcasting, videoconferencing, and simultaneous interpretation.
- Designing, testing, and implementing systems tailored to unique client needs.
- Assisting in managing small to medium-sized projects, including defining requirements and creating technical solutions.
- Engaging with high-profile clients and effectively addressing service requests and technical challenges.
Assets:
Additional knowledge and skills that would be beneficial include:
- Familiarity with various technical equipment used in live events and multimedia.
- Understanding of electronics principles and equipment installation.
- Experience with programming systems such as Crestron, AMX, QSC, Extron, Media Matrix, Evertz, Televic, and Bosch.
- Basic knowledge of network computing principles.
