Financial Consolidation Analyst Role

We are seeking a skilled Financial Consolidation Analyst to join our team at BRP. As a key member of our external reporting and consolidation team, you will play a vital role in the preparation of our monthly internal consolidated financial information and related analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform the monthly and quarterly consolidation process, ensuring accurate and complete elimination of intercompany transactions.
  • Prepare journal entries and related analysis to support our financial reporting.
  • Record journal entries on various corporate accounting subjects, including Share Capital, Dividends, Share-based Compensation, FX, intangibles, and Impairment.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimize our consolidation function.
  • Contribute to the preparation of our external consolidated financial statements and Management Discussion and Analysis (MDA).
  • Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and internal controls requirements.
  • Address queries from auditors and internal reviewers.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial consolidation and analysis.
  • CPA or CPA candidate required.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements applicable to public companies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Application expertise in Blackline, SAP, and Controller (desirable).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
