Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement language and culture programs for students
- Provide language support to teachers and staff
- Collaborate with community members to promote Inuit language and culture

- Bachelor of Education Degree
- Experience and/or training with current assessment methods
- Evidence of differentiated instruction and inclusive practices
- Experience and/or training in classroom management practices and the development of positive learning environments
- Cross-cultural and/or northern teaching experience
- Evidence of training and/or experience in the area of Balanced Literacy at the elementary level
- Training and/or teaching experience in an English Language Learner (ELL) environment

- Competitive salary range: $69,659 - $84,073 per annum
- Language allowance: $1,500 - $5,000 per annum
- Northern Allowance: $19,716 per annum
