Position Overview
The Krembil Research Institute (KRI) at UHN is inviting applications for a permanent full-time Senior Research Scientist position. This role will focus on the establishment and oversight of a preclinical platform specializing in animal behavior, in vivo imaging, and optogenetics. This platform will serve as an accessible resource, providing essential hardware, molecular tools, behavioral suites, training, and expert guidance to facilitate a diverse array of research initiatives utilizing advanced optical technologies.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Research Scientist will collaborate with a variety of Principal Investigators across multiple health science disciplines, including neurology, rheumatology, and ophthalmology. The successful candidate will be accountable for:
- Developing and managing the preclinical platform to support innovative research.
- Providing training and resources to researchers and trainees.
- Ensuring the platform remains at the forefront of technological advancements in the field.
