Position Overview

This is a full-time, in-person role based in our Sherwood Park, Alberta office.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and enhance eLearning management software solutions.
- Create and maintain digital forms, directories, reporting systems, eCommerce components, and additional modules within the eLearning platform.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and optimizations to enhance platform performance and user experience.
- Perform rigorous testing and debugging to ensure high-quality software releases, providing ongoing technical support and maintenance post-deployment.
- Oversee web development projects, transforming mockups into functional web interfaces utilizing ColdFusion, MSSQL, jQuery, Bootstrap, AJAX, and JSON.
- Manage Content Management Systems to deliver a user-friendly interface for clients.
- Develop, test, and deploy applications across various environments.
- Collaborate closely with managers, team leads, designers, and fellow developers to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software.
- Utilize a variety of ColdFusion frameworks to develop web applications.
- Minimum of 8+ years of software development experience with a focus on ColdFusion.
- Strong understanding of web technologies and frameworks, including ColdFusion, Lucee, ReactJS, AngularJS, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with database technologies such as MySQL and MSSQL.
- Proficient in using development and collaboration tools like GitHub, Docker, JIRA, Postman, Source Tree, Tortoise SVN, BitBucket, and Salesforce.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Salary ranges from $40 to $45 per hour, commensurate with experience, reflecting the unique skill set each individual brings to the role. We also offer comprehensive medical coverage, including health, dental, and vision, along with life and disability insurance.
