About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Zamboni Operator to join our team at FedEx Supply Chain. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our warehouse facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispose of recyclable materials in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ensure the cleanliness of floors and facilities
  • Support other shifts as needed
  • Maintain a safe and efficient working environment
  • Complete monitoring and control reports as required
  • Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Work experience in an industrial environment
  • Knowledge of WHMIS program (management of hazardous materials)
  • Ability to work in a computerized environment
  • Attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Ability to maintain harmonious relationships with coworkers
  • Great sense of customer service
  • Bilingualism (oral and written) an asset
  • Ability to work standing for long periods
  • Recognized certification for rolling and motorized equipment an asset
Physical and Cognitive Requirements
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret information
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
  • Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
  • Ability to sit, walk, or stand for up to 10 hours per day
  • Ability to intermittently crawl, squat, climb, twist, bend, stoop, push, or pull
  • Must possess visual acuity, i.e., close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Ability to lift or carry items less than 25 pounds
