Job Summary

1965121 Ontario Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our team. As a Family Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and management in a fast-paced ambulatory care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consultation and Diagnosis: Evaluate patients' physical and mental health, consult with other medical practitioners as needed, and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Medication and Treatment: Prescribe and administer medications, as well as provide vaccinations and inoculations to prevent and treat diseases.
  • Patient Education and Support: Advise patients on health care, provide counseling and support on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues, and offer emergency care when necessary.
  • Administrative Tasks: Co-ordinate and manage primary patient care, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
  • Experience: Experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Certifications and Licenses: College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, and values and ethics.
Working Conditions
  • Work Setting: Urban area, ambulatory care centre, or clinic.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
