Junior Production Planner

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team at Héroux-Devtek. As a key member of our planning department, you will be responsible for analyzing and planning production schedules, coordinating with supervisors, and ensuring timely delivery of landing gear to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Write and maintain a master schedule of current contracts, including major start-up activities and required deliveries
- Analyze statistics to detect potential delays in landing gear production and advise production on scenarios to meet delivery deadlines
- Establish statistics on landing gear movement during production
- Write supply requisitions for materials or services and set deadlines for receipt
- Write a general plan of activities, taking into account manufacturing capacities and delivery dates required on orders
- Analyze and verify availability of components using various reports
- Write ordering documents, stipulating clear requirements
- Write and transmit documentation to production and service departments, including master schedules, production schedules, etc.
- Maintain contact with different departments or services to ensure delivery dates are met
- Write a report on the progress of activities/contracts
- Use computer equipment for scheduling, deliveries, inventory, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in operations management or college diploma in production or relevant experience
- Knowledge of Office suite (advanced level for Excel) is an asset
- Bilingualism in English and French, spoken and written
- Good communicator
- Great sense of organization and priorities
- Knowledge of an MRP/ERP system
