Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse Team Leader

We are seeking a motivated and organized Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with recent supervisory experience to join our team as a Team Leader in Kelowna, B.C.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced LPN to continue to develop and enhance their first-line supervisory skill-set. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating Home Support Services by supervising LPNs, Community Health Workers, and other unregulated members of the team. You will oversee the implementation of client care plans, provide training and evaluation of care provided by staff, and advocate for changes that improve client care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of LPNs, Community Health Workers, and other team members
  • Oversee the implementation of client care plans and provide training and evaluation of care provided by staff
  • Advocate for changes that improve client care and work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team
  • Perform assessments, make nursing diagnoses, and implement and provide personal and nursing care for clients in a community health setting
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have recent supervisory experience as an LPN and be confident and experienced in providing direction and assignments to staff. You will also need to be organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
