Job Title: Network Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our team at Edgelink Communications Ltd. As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and mainframe networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate access and use of computer networks
  • Install software and hardware, including web server hardware and software
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer LANs, WANs, mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users
  • Perform routine network start up and close down and maintain control records
  • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet
  • Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in this field
  • Permanent employment
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
  • English language
