Director of Software Development

We're seeking a visionary Director of Software Development to lead our engineering efforts and shape the future of our platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a long-term technical strategy to deliver key capabilities to our platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and champion technical priorities
  • Maintain a roadmap for core service capabilities and interfaces to enable rapid business value delivery
  • Develop and support foundational capabilities such as permissions, authentication/authorization, and message/event-based platforms
  • Lead high-caliber engineering teams and cultivate a culture of metrics-driven quality, efficient processes, and transparency
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience managing managers
  • 3+ years of experience managing teams of software developers as a front-line manager
  • 10+ years of experience developing software, preferably in backend roles
  • Experience with data processing (ETL), AI, and ML
  • Strong programming skills in Python and Go
  • Track record of building healthy, inclusive, high-performing engineering teams
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and deliver projects on schedule
