Job Description:

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is a leading innovator of high-performance analog semiconductors. We are seeking a highly skilled Test and Automation Engineer to join our Advanced Development Engineering Laboratory team.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing test results, troubleshooting measurement issues, and creating product validation data reports for marketing and engineering purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze test results and troubleshoot measurement issues.
  • Create and present product validation data reports for marketing and engineering purposes.
  • Understand test requirements for RF products including power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, couplers, switches, acoustic filters, and various integrated RF Front End WiLAN transmit/receive modules.
  • Spectral Analysis, Network Analysis, Modulated Signal Analysis (e.g.,
  • Digital control / Serial Bus Control.
  • Digital Pre-Distortion and Envelope Tracking.
  • DC analysis / Pulsed current.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with at least 8 years' experience in an RF laboratory environment.
  • Thorough technical understanding and practical working knowledge of RF principles and theory.
  • Test Automation software capability, using LabVIEW, C#, Python or Matlab.
  • Curious, creative and a collaborative problem solver.
  • Team Player with a focus on the goals and outcomes of the business unit in a fast-paced priority-driven environment.
  • Database scripting experience is an asset (SQL, MSSQL, MySQL etc.).
  • Familiarity with statistical concepts is an asset.

The typical base pay range for this role is currently CAD $97,300 - $165,900 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, and the ultimate job duties and requirements.
