Resort Manager Job Description

Nectar Yoga Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resort Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the overall operation and management of our resort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Policies and Procedures: Create and implement policies and procedures for daily operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient running of the resort.
  • Supervise Staff: Supervise and manage a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are working effectively and efficiently.
  • Conduct Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews with staff to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback and coaching.
  • Negotiate with Suppliers: Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible deals for materials and supplies.
  • Conduct Training Sessions: Conduct training sessions for staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Negotiate with Clients: Negotiate with clients to secure bookings and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Perform Front Desk Duties: Perform front desk duties, including checking in guests, handling customer complaints, and providing information and assistance to guests.
  • Prepare Budgets and Monitor Revenues and Expenses: Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure the resort is operating within budget.
  • Prepare Marketing Plans: Prepare marketing plans to promote the resort and attract new customers.
  • Implement Marketing Activities: Implement marketing activities, including social media marketing, email marketing, and advertising.
  • Arrange for and Oversee Maintenance Activities: Arrange for and oversee maintenance activities, including repairs and maintenance of buildings and equipment.
  • Enforce Policies and Procedures: Enforce policies and procedures to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Address Customers' Complaints or Concerns: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist Clients/Guests with Special Needs: Assist clients/guests with special needs, including providing wheelchair access and other accommodations.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for staff to ensure adequate coverage and minimize overtime.
  • Manage Events: Manage events, including weddings, conferences, and other special events.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory, including supplies and equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
