Pension Plan Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Pension Plan Specialist. As a key member of our Pension, Wellness and Benefits team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective administration and governance of National Bank's pension plans.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze demographic and behavioral statistics and trends to inform our approach to promoting employee understanding and appreciation of pension plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date plan documentation, including MyHR, brochures, forms, and guides.
- Monitor processes, report, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of pension plan services.
- Contribute to the administration of National Bank's pension plans, including monitoring enrolments, validating and approving benefits payments, and analyzing reports.
- Ensure the handling and resolution of special cases in collaboration with managers, the call centre, legal affairs, or the ombudsman's office.
- Drive continuous improvement and process efficiency to enhance the overall employee experience.
You will be part of a dynamic team of six colleagues, reporting to the Senior Director, Pensions. Our team is responsible for the administration and governance of National Bank's pension plans, with over 20,000 active members, 12,000 retirees, and a pension fund of more than $5 billion.
