Key Responsibilities- Patient Assessment and Care: Conduct thorough medical examinations, diagnose and treat a wide range of health conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans for patients.
- Medical Consultations: Provide expert medical advice and guidance to patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Medication Management: Prescribe and administer medications, as well as monitor patients' responses to treatment.
- Health Education: Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, complete necessary paperwork, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in family medicine or a related field.
- Certifications: College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
