Position: Airport Safety Officer

Role Overview:
As an Airport Safety Officer, your primary responsibility will be to safeguard the well-being of passengers, staff, and flight crews within the airport premises. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Overseeing the Primary Security Line (PSL) at designated gates and access points to monitor restricted area entry.
  • Continuous surveillance of terminal spaces and surrounding areas to identify safety risks and unusual activities.
  • Upholding Transport Canada regulations for all personnel and visitors.
  • Conducting regular patrols of the facility to ensure adherence to security protocols.
  • Responding to emergencies and coordinating with the Security Operations Centre (SOC) as necessary.
Opportunities for Growth: We offer training programs for roles within the Security Operations Centre and Patrol.

Qualifications:
  • Proficient in English communication.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service capabilities.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Able to perform under pressure and manage sensitive information.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License and First Aid & CPR certification is mandatory.
