Position Overview

The role of a Culinary Support Staff at Cora Breakfast and Lunch involves a variety of essential tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of our kitchen environment.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness by clearing and sanitizing tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Organize and store dishes appropriately.
  • Wash and sanitize dishes and kitchen items manually.
  • Prepare food by portioning and wrapping items as needed.
  • Utilize both manual and electrical appliances for food preparation tasks such as cleaning, peeling, slicing, and trimming.
  • Ensure a hygienic kitchen by cleaning and sanitizing work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Dispose of kitchen waste and trash responsibly.
  • Sharpen kitchen knives to maintain efficiency.
  • Keep floors clean by sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing.
  • Prepare vegetables and fruits by washing, peeling, and cutting.
Experience Requirements
  • No prior experience necessary; training will be provided.
  • Employment Duration: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
