Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing services to patients, families, and communities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Utilize critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to deliver patient-centered care.
- Teach, counsel, and advocate on behalf of patients and their families, promoting health education and empowerment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans, ensuring safe and quality care.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
- Completion of the CRNA Medication Management - Chapters and NextGenU Health Assessment Resources Certification (if not practiced as a Registered Nurse within the last five years).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications.
