Heavy Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician to join our team at Cooper Equipment Rentals Limited. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy-duty equipment fleet.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, using your technical expertise to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Order parts and maintain inventory, ensuring that our equipment is always well-stocked and ready for use.
- Keep maintenance records and documentation up-to-date, providing accurate and detailed reports on equipment performance and maintenance activities.
- Test repaired equipment to ensure that it meets manufacturers' specifications and is safe for operation.
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work as required to keep our equipment in top condition.
- Perform preventive maintenance to prevent equipment failures and downtime, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance or a related field.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of heavy-duty equipment systems and components.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity.
- Accurate, reliable, and organized, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
